As I remember the 20 Hydro class at that same race had 2 boats in it. Myself and Frank Sechrest. Why are we offering B Hydro at that race??? DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I seem to recall that race had 2 or 3 other 20 hydros entered that didn't show and gave no notice of cancellation.
This isn't productive Don. If you can't see through the Boats entered as Opposed to the Boats that Show I can guarantee you 35 D Monos at Greensboro.

I have no problem with offering a class and a minimum boat count. If there are only 3 D mono's and the minum is 4, cancel it and offer the entrants to run Open Mono if they want, HOWEVER!!!! THE SAME RULES SHOULD APPY TO B HYDRO!!! If There are only 3 B Hydros and the Minimum is 4, Open Hydro or Put It In The Trailer!!!!!!!!
HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The hydros made the minimum at all 5 of the races. People who enter & don't show & don't tell anyone they're not coming like what happened at the NC race can't be foreseen.

Whatever, offer all IMPBA Classes on the D12 District Entry Forms or My Vehicle will only be headed South. If the class doesn't meet minimum entries, offer to up to the next class or scratch your entry. I thought we were supposed to be promoting R/C Boating but maybe in D12 I'm not going with the Flow here.

You're quite correct, obviously you can't see it was only done in an attempt to have something to offer the nitro mono guys who want to race something when the classes don't make as they have not the last couple years. Oh well ............

Gee I'm confused here, what part of if the classes have enough then run them don't you understand??

Scott if we have alot of D monos show up we are running them in the D class. If we do not have 4 boats we will have a open class and I think your D mono will place in any opening class. Hope to see you at the race and I enjoy shooting the **** you and Gavin

 Whew! What have I gotten myself into? I'm going to take a slightly different approach. If it makes any difference, I'd be more than happy to add entries for D Mono and/or D Hydro if it helps make classes. Just let me know and I don't mind short notice. :p

thanks chris i will be talking to you are you going to the spring nats
Not going to the spring nats. To follow up, Jimmy and I have been talking and he is planning to come to Greensboro though he won't be running any boats.
Thats all good I hope to see you at Greensboro after this P!!sing match is over

Gavin or as Ray likes to call me Hillbilly

D mono and E mono have been added as non-district points classes. These classes will have a 3 boat minimum.

For all those who want to run these classes, get your entries in and spread the word to others who might have boats in these classes to bring em on!

Pencil this in Chuck, If D-12 is gioing to write off D & E Mono I won't be at Greensboro or Chesapeake or Baltimore or anyplace North of here. I don't care anything about District Trophys or Points or any of that crap. I enjoy racing Boats on a District or higher Level and this is a Bad Decision on the Districts part. If some New Guy gets a good deal on a D Mono and wants to race in D12 on a District Level he's screwed. I know the reaction from the Powers taht are in Control are going to be that I wasn't at the Annual D12 Meeting to discuss this but Mechanicsville, VA is 4 1/2 hours and $100 or more worth of gas from my House here in Charlotte. I'm reconsidering Going South to Florida for my District level Fix right now.
Scott, now that we've got D & E mono on the flier, we look forward to having you and Gavin at the race. If the other clubs also add these classes are we going to see both of you at Chesapeake, Baltimore, and the other races in D12?

Thank you, if the class does not fill I will scratch or move if I can, if not no problem! I don't see a thing wrong with that IT's all good. We'll talk it up at Atlanta and see if we can get some Nitro Mono Turnout. I can Gurantee Greensboro and Chesapeake we will be there and Considering the further North races if Gas prices don't continue to rise.

Gav :D :D :D

pps getting 12 boats together is a pain

Thanks for finally chiming in on this Gavin as it seems you are in the center of this "heated discussion". I would like to hear Scott's reply though on attending all the other district 12 events since he's the only one raising so much hell about this. And based on his statement about "I'm reconsidering Going South to Florida for my District level Fix right now" gas prices should not really even be in the equation. So how 'bout it Scotty, are you going to show at the rest of the D12 races after all the fussin' you did?

Been studying the Calendar and I plan on being at all of the D-12 District Points Races except for the Final one at Baltimore. It's 1 week after the Fall National Championships at Charleston which I Plan to Attend. I don't think that will matter as I should have all the D-12 Points for my Classes Wrapped up by then. :p :D

As far as D & E Mono and for that matter all the Nitro Mono Classes that You seem determined to Write Off, I seem to remember just short time ago that this was also said about the Tunnel Classes. Seems that didn't hold true now did it??

See you in a Few Days and we'll have a Cold One, or More, and put this behind us Don. :)

"As far as D & E Mono and for that matter all the Nitro Mono Classes that You seem determined to Write Off...."

Scott, as I have been trying to tell you it NEVER was a write off, constantly canceling the classes at the races for the last couple years was the real "write off". Both the boaters & clubs suffered through canceled classes with no place to race and wasted $$ on trophies. The ONLY reason this even came up was in fact we were looking for a way to get those one or two of each D, E & F monos that would enter the races a place to play. I said it before & I'll say it again- what is better, telling people to leave their boat(s) home or offering a class where they can at least mix it up? And BTW- the original thought was to do B, D and E/F until a certain D12 member swayed things a little by talking up how he bested a field of open mono with his 40 .........

If you & Gavin attend more D12 races this year we stand a better chance of making the mono classes but we'll have to wait and see.

Yup, we'll drink this one off in a few days. Oh yeah, bring me a 5th of Bacardi & we're even on the MAC84 wrist pin I had sent to you. :D
