File it a tad wider (52mm) and even a CMB90/91 will fit. There's plenty of material to drill/tap new mountingholes.

In European FSR-V boats , standard lead/teflon bushings are commonly used. They do the job well , and will last a long time.

I always cut pipe-stingers to 35mm/1,38" when using a muffler. Without cutting shorter your back-pressure will rise. And if possible I ream the pipe-stinger 0,5mm/0.02" wider.

For geared-drive see picture : Engines to be used on gears , are reverse rotating. Purpose of gearing is to get the engine rev's of 40.000 down to 26.000 and use a bigger prop. (as small props are not that efficiënt.)
