test failed

Out testing the Supersport45 today and everything going well till motor just quit.

Try to restart and sounds like header was loose.

Bit of piston skirt broke off and jammed under rod busting out the case.

New motor time.

something cause that piece to break out it jammed under the rod bearing.

Yea that piece got under the rod I see scrapes, Older cmb did have a tight clearance and I have ground out the case, but this was cause by the chunk of piston

Dont know that it is all scrap now. No parts for that motor.

Well when you go to hobart and win a hydro class when this happens you can go to the drawer and get out a free motor and bolt it in

HA That purple head was from one of the proto vac cmb 1 of 2, so the case is different from production vac motors. Yea Pete, i won a new one for sport40 class in 13 and it now sits in the Supersport 45. No nova rossi in my plans.
