    WOF HOOKS BAD !!!!!!!!!

I was beginning to think the same and more. These boats are not designed to make a hairpin turn, 30ft radius at the smallest. You no longer need to set the sponsons on these little guys. Keep the boat on plane and it'll turn just fine. They are designed for all out speed. Have fun! Snowdog

    Water injection to lower DB

Is it just me or do the stock K&B 11 and 13CC Outboards use water in the exhaust to muffle the noise? Seems to me that this was thought of long ago by the ones who brought us the infamous "Fuel to noise convertors" (Thanks JD) ;)

    you're on the clock

We need to get back to the reason Jeff asked this. Will reducing start time by 30 seconds build in enough time to add another full round for all classes? I don't think so. Though I haven't raced but a small number of times, I see where this thought would occur. If the CD isn't strict, the...

    THE NATIONAL OB TUNNEL CHAMPIONSHIPS

As of this post, "For those that did not attend this year's race, you can look at the website from that race located at: 2006 Tunnel Champs site" The link does not work!

    Grand Rapids Club

Be it that I've salivated over reports and videos of the past fun-runs I will consider coming up. Elkhart is not that far away. Do you guys still allow tunnels? If you're referring to me as the "mystery person" I can't see how. I've hung out around here quite a bit and have dipped in and out...

Wood plans for a JD WOF 28/30 Tunnelhull

TS, to the best of my knowledge, JD did not make plans for this boat to be built in wood. It is a WOF (Wood Over Foam) and therefore, stronger. I don't know about lighter but it is stronger. Snowdog

    Ride Surfaces...

Kris, You'll get better success by adding weight to the sponsons. Right at the C/G or a touch forward. You'll be surprised at how much better it runs in rough water. Snowdog

    Avalible NOW at grimracer.com

Go easy on him Mark, I couldn't see it either. So hard to see the stub shaft from the lower unit these days... and BTW, that is a very nice lower unit  Snowdog

    7.5 Jerry Dunlap Tunnel

Actually J.D. will be unavailable the whole month of July. He not only plans to hit the NAMBA Nats but also the IMPBA Internats.

    K&B 3.5 woes

All ideas so far are good but I would look at the propellor depth to start. That will be the easiest. Unless you're running a submerged propeller, you want the prop running 1/2 in and 1/2 out of the water line.

Some would call that inversely proportional and unfortunately for the most of us, it is soooooo true. :D

    WAY O.T.!! Computer questions

PJ, All I can recommend is if you use the HDDs in a Raid 0 configuration, you want to have a third for backup purposes. If one of your HDDs in a raid 0 dies, ALL of your data is gone with no hope of recovery. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Snowdog
