I was thinking the same thing but just wanted to see if there was some new secrets to these chinese carbs working on our RTR's .

the engines are gonna gain more from timing changes,, pipe changes,,and button changes... your proly better off to modify your carb entry into an eliptical shape if possible..then match the barrel bore to the body bore..it also helps a lil to bell out the throat outlet a bit..

i garantee the stock carb will out perform that ebay special...specially if you can get that elpitical shape into the mouth... ive also found on certain carbs,,if you shorten the inlet tract it helps it breathe...

the main thing here is most likely without the use of timing changes/ pipe and button changes,,,the mods to the carb really arent gonna shine...now if you get the engine to move more air/fuel then you will see the changes are more pronounced...
