Thank you .....that is good to know.....from their description it was up in the air as to what they offered.....

I was just trying to pass on some info that I learned the hard way.....

I've seen the "carbon" rod that is mostly resin and carbon powder. Snaps like a match stick.

One of the reasons I always recomend Goodwinds is they carry quality materials and fast shipping. I've had them call me twice to make sure I knew what I'd ordered and hadn't made a mistake.

I would like to add that i have used these from goodwinds in the 8mm od size on my 21 hawk as recommended by steve and gary and they break when you hit a bouy hard which is what i wanted to save my tub and boat.

Bob Howard sent me a couple Easton A/C/C 340 arrowshafts earlier this yr (thank you again Bob!). They are an aluminum shafts wrapped in CF - tough as heck. The set of sponsons I put them on survived several crashes w/o braking the shaft - instead the brass tube inserts in the sponsons would bend. The arrowshafts are pricey though 6 of them costs @$65-70. I'm going to be using these for the JAE .12 build I'm currently working on.
