Electronics Technician with the Royal Australian Navy going on 12 yrs now. Have been on a some warships, active service inEast Timor, Persian Gulf, been to a myriad of other places, some great, others not so. Spent time under training in San Diego in '97 and '01 (love it over there, so much fun and you guys rock with your hospitality).

When at sea I work on radar, sonar, navigational aids, basically sensors (as well as a damage control instructor),the list could go on forever, currently ashore (9-5 normal days..............love it) but I am currently a technical training coordinator for a whole swag of very junior guys (provide training, assessments etc)...............................very rewarding however it can present "unique challenges" from time to time.

At least I can mould the kiddies into mini Johno's...................that's my legacy, scary but true

Just left my job of 15 years as an Aircraft maintainance engineer for Qantas airways, now working as technical administrator for Recycling Technology we import big angry shredding machines ,screening machines and now big cool rock crushers :) :)

I was in East Timor in '99 on the mighty war canoe Darwin (FFG04). We had a few of the Army guys come onboard for hot showers, a decent sleep and a good hot breakfast (with fresh cooked loaves of bread).

I went ashore for a few days to do some work and was also involed with a rice distribution, it was a very good experience (one I will never forget) talking to you guys and to this day I really don't know how you do it on the ground.............you definately have it alot tougher than we do at sea that's for sure. You certainely earn your $$, I admire you guys for the thankless task you do on the ground.

Dentist for 22years making implants and oral surgery but gave up career in 1998 after 5 years living and working as dentist in Geneve-Swiss,2 more years at the Indiana University(indianapolis) taking special courses, an uncountable amount of money invested on my own dental clinic as soon as I came back from USA and was happy for many years until figured out that outdoor activities could be part of my way of living.

Since my retirement( I'm glad to change jobs) I've been working with all size boats and yes I do have to work hard during weekends too...lol.

Director of Information Systems for a family owned international manufacturing company.

Its really just a fancy title for the guy who fixes everything that gets plugged in, or looks technical. I’ve been doing this for the last 12 years (I’m only 32).

I spend money. Other people's money. AND LOTS OF IT!

Presently working as Sr. Buyer of machined, cast & stamped metal components for PCTEL Antenna Prod. Group. We make antennas for ISM, Cellular, DataCom & traditional Land Mobile applications. And still working part-time in the bicycle industry (my previous life & home of 20+ years & counting) where I served as product manager and purchasing manager of a large P&A company.

Through my years of dealing with the far East, no one could ever get my name right, Chuck. CHUNK was the best it would ever get... So the nick-name "Chunk" has been forever placed upon me.

I'm a Key Account Manager for Frito-Lay. I manage NorCal for them.

Awesome job, lots of perks like wineing and dining, not to mention I get to golf a lot as well as take customers to a lot of sports events.

The Mexican National soccer team came to San Francisco last month and played Norway. 4 of my kids got to escort the players onto the field and stand next to them on the field during the National Anthems. It was cool to see my kids on ESPN!

Not to mention the samples I get are even better. There's tons of times when I get chips you'll never see hit the market in your life. :p

Well, I've been a Disc Jockey for the past 25 years. On the radio and as a mobile DJ doing weddings and parties. At one time I had the largest DJ business in my area with 15 people out almost every weekend. I've been in radio since 1985 and worked all over Northern California including stints in Sacramento and San Francisco. I still do a morning show from 5-9am for a local Light Rock station. As long as someone is stupid enough to pay me to work on their station I'll do it.

I get out of here and head to the office for the rest of my day. I still have the DJ business a little...it's finished at the end of this year and the sign shop is well on it's way to replacing it. The DJ biz has an offshoot video production and projection business I still run. I have a couple of part-time people that run it while I am getting the sign and graphics business built up. The video and the sign shop share a lot of the same type of graphics work and software so they work well with each other. Some of the agencies that I do Audio/Video work for have also used me to do vehicle graphics and trade show signage for some of their clients.
