Hello Don, I will see your snow and raise you an inch of freezing rain and one-half inch of sleet then the snow. Just got electricity back.

We stood on the front porch and watched the fire works as transformers lit the night sky like it was lightening with very bright blue flashes then the yellow/orange of them burning. This went on for a while.

Hey Charles, how's the horse and wagon handle in that stuff. You fishtail alot.

Hello Ray, it looks a lot like when Dale jr made the Bud commercial with the Clydesdales and the Bud wagon.

They are a little loose in the corners.

More fun than a goat roping contest, without a rope.

Hang onto your snow shovel Don, it looks like you may get another 10" of the white stuff!

Actually they are now saying 8-12" with more possible. Up around northern Va. where Carl is they are calling for blizzard like conditions with 30" possible. This TOTALLY SUCKS!!!

This is like a re-occurring nightmare!
Do like I did 14 years ago." MOVE TO FLORIDA "

In 1996 looked out the window and only saw the top of the car.( 36" over night from a Noreaster).. About 12" circle of the roof the wind had blown off. The next month on April fools day I was in FL. Haven't seen snow since :D

David

Hey Don;

We got 27" here in Woodbridge so far as of 5:45PM. There is still more supposedly coming this evening.

The Old F-150 looks like a big old lump of snow on the curb. can't see the tires at all.

Carl

p.s. just called Don's place and his wife said he was out shoveling......................................

Sorry, but we northerners have to laugh! We get a hard time every time that we get serious snow and now I've got barely acouple of inches in my yard. Back in `78 or `79 we got so much dropped overnight that my neighbors cars across the street were so buried that all I saw were can antennas sticking up out of the snow. It took 3 days to dig my Firebird out which was about the time that the plows came though and put a couple more feet at the end of the driveway!

Just settle in with one or two of your favorite bottles for a while of the good stuff.

I had to deal with that last winter as well. This year, sunny and 55 today.

Ron, do they keep the freeways pretty much clear in Michigan? Wife and I may be buzzing by the Zoo end of next month headed to and from Detroit. No guarrantees on bringing boats along yet, depends on room and the wife's mood when we pack up. If I get a Pak build done, just maybe I'll be able to talk her into bring ing one

I got tired of Chicago winters and moved down here in south coastal Texas. Spent today walking along the beach on south padre island with my trusty fishing pole tossing a spoon in the surf. Beautiful sunny 71! :p

If you're rolling in on I-94 then you have to watch about the first 30 miles after crossing over from Indiana as it runs close to the lakeshore. They were nice today as I was going up to 85 heading over to the new casino between Battle Creek and Marshall. You just have to drive smart if things get nasty. If you see some idiot go flying by you when it's slippery, you can count on them being stuck in the median down the road or worse. Usually any road with an I or M in it is a primary road which are priorities for plowing.

Honk when you go by exit 80, I live just a couple of miles north of it. :)

Febraury and March aren't generally good months for dragging the boats along as most of the time the ponds are still frozen over. Sometimes they aren't open until late April. We've driven to the Toledo show in from blizzard conditions to sunny skies.

If you're not careful, I might even give you a call, if you're listed in the phone book. With and address I could probably even find the house, but that wouldn't be until on the way home, if at all. I take it bringing a boat isn't worth it then? I know I have all soft water to play on and plan to have several boats throwing water in the next few months. With multiple builds going, I had better have some wet boats this year :D

And everyone always makes fun of Buffalo, who's laughing now?
The difference is it's SUPPOSED to do this #@ in Buffalo, not in southern Virginia.
Will spend 8-10 hours @ work today getting rid of this crap that I spent yesterday evening clearing here at the house. <_<

Not to mention a few fellow D12 members are blaming me, saying I jinxed the weather building the new Jag twin and wanting to go run it.
