If you're rolling in on I-94 then you have to watch about the first 30 miles after crossing over from Indiana as it runs close to the lakeshore. They were nice today as I was going up to 85 heading over to the new casino between Battle Creek and Marshall. You just have to drive smart if things get nasty. If you see some idiot go flying by you when it's slippery, you can count on them being stuck in the median down the road or worse. Usually any road with an I or M in it is a primary road which are priorities for plowing.
Honk when you go by exit 80, I live just a couple of miles north of it.
Febraury and March aren't generally good months for dragging the boats along as most of the time the ponds are still frozen over. Sometimes they aren't open until late April. We've driven to the Toledo show in from blizzard conditions to sunny skies.
