O.S. .21 XM Marine Outboard Discontinued?

I just went out a got one of these outboards.

I live in Australia and paid $560.00 for it.

Does this mean Im stuck with a white lemon, and will they make another outboard?

I had a thunder tiger and I think the pretty average

Don't be too worried - OS will not stop making Car engines so you will be able to get bearings and piston/sleeves of a similar or better spec. OS have a world of interchangeable parts so don't stress. I think someone should talk to saturn hobbies about doing one of theri plasma liner combo's for these engines.

Don't give up yet.

BTW where did you buy the engine as I haven't seen them over $500 where I look.

I don't think Cincotta (Saturn Hobbies) imports the plasma liner's anymore. They are made in Russia somewhere.....

Some of you guys in OZ should get in touch with tony and find out his supplier, that could be a lucrative venture with all the marine engines out there !!!! Liners with the right timming and less friction and long wear, if any!!!! INDESTRUCTABLE Were is his center of operation, does any one know ???

Just like the Hammerhead project, it can be done !!!!

Or get intouch with the Russian company and set it up to order direct from them !!!!
