Scooter is not chicken bait. He is still recovering from his severe broken leg from a bit ago and is taking off the 2010 year from racing. He is looking to get back next year.

If anyone is needing to make a changes for the race, please contact Jeni Johnson. She has the only dime in this effort so all must go through her. If there is room to add she will do it. If not she has a wait list. Every race we see boats go out due to lost radios, crashes or engine failures. So if you can't get in before the race, what happens during 2 days of open water, you may be lucky. Bring your boat just in case.

John, Scooter needs to Man Up..... I broke a Shoulder/Arm & mangled a Rotater March 2009. Was on 12 pain pills a day. But only missed 4hrs work & the Spring Nats. Getting off a bike @ 40 ft aint pretty. I have just about retired from Dirt bike riding on the trax..... You want to Buy Some Bikes? its the only thing I love to do more than Boat race...

I am working on a updated list as we have had some drivers drop. If anyone else plans to drop a class please let me know so if someone is trying to get in we can help them out. jj

:lol:My body is riddled with hardware and calcium deposits from Dirt riding...too many crushed shoulders , broken ribs and concussions for me . Now I stick to riding in the woods where it's SAFE LOL !!!! My riding mantra is "stay low ..go slow "

Joe, all I have is excuses right now. Just got back from the Hobart race, got my last District race next weekend and then record trial two weeks in November. Charlston is right in the middle of it all. I stay with Mom on the record trials, so the motel is free and not much travel time (Two hours). The district race is a must, so maybe next year. There just ain't enough time to do it all, and the wife is getting tired of it all too. I'm getting the "where you going this weekend" thing. I'm still catching up at work from the Hobart trip and sometimes I wonder if going away to a race is worth the misery when I go back to work. Late nights at work and the wife saying "am I ever gonna see you again". Nobody ever grows up wanting to be a commercial property manager I assure you! I will have to settle with trading paint with Jim Squires next weekend. Fun Class!!!!! Good luck at the races!

Can't wait to see everyone..we will be asking that everyone check in prior to putting a boat in open water. And be checked in by Thursday to help finalize the heat sheets prior to Friday am. Anybody coming early in week to the race? This will be a fast pace race and as one of the pit bosses and there will be "No Mercy"....you all will have your heat sheets. (I will update race list in next day or so) CMB members have planned well for this race and we want it to be fun too..so don't forget the "Redneck Pool Party" that Me Time and I are hosting..we need to try to get a head count for food and will be asking for a $5.00 donation to help with that. I will be posting a list of the Redneck Games this weekend for you all to sign up for and the grand prize is a Brand New Boat. We have lots of other stuff in store for ya'll too...this will take place after the Sat. racing at the field next to the RV parking area..Redneck clothing will be important as we will be judging that. See ya at the pond.. jj
