But the road trips to Waltersboro,Atlanta,Evansville,will be no doubt highly competitive,adventrous,lots of fun, for some reason every time I go on the road with this bunch my sides ache for 3-5 days after from laughing so dam much! Cant wait for our trip! You, John and I need to set a date to get to the pond and get these puppies running like an Iditerod Dog team. Then we need to decide who is driving and what trailer we are taking? PS did you get that room reserved yet?\

Now you know I cant go without leaving a gem of my own so here goes: I think I know where Clegg has been. He was in Torino at the olympics with the German two man toboggan team and when they made the first run the brake man couldnt get in cause James was takin all the room. James did a lousy job drivin as usual and flipped over in the turn and then back right side up just before the finish, since there was no brakeman to help slow him down at the end of the run he and his tobagan broke through the retaining wall and they have not been seen since! All Clegg has to do is yodel and they will be able to find him, guess he hasn't thought of that yet. I truley hope he is OK not only for his sake but for Don Gilbert as well cause we all know how close these two are and one without the other just aint right! PS Don dont get the fritos all over the keyboard at Kinko's, they will throw you out on your azz!

I should have said aren't right but I wanted the Atwells to understand it :lol:

All you poor fellas need to get to the pond and get some drive time oh yea thats right the ponds are frozen up north. poor bastereds thats gotta suck not being able to run a boat year round. I can see grimracer now sitten on the side of his bed stareing at his boats wishing he could drive them. But for now all he can do is start them up and listen to them and sniff the sweet smell of nitro. Then his old lady comes in and yells turn that dam thing off he he he.

DO NOT make any motel reservations yet. I am in the final negotiations with a good motel to use as race headquarters, with reduced rates and good amenities for you. We NEED you to stay there to make it worthwhile for the motel. The rate now is less than $50.00 per night.

I will make the announcement with all of the details by Sunday evening.

No one has mentioned the "Smack Talk Driver's Challenge" that was added for Sat night??!! The top six Smack Talkers will get a chance to go head to head with the Mod-VP's and see who can run a boat as fast as their mouth (or fingers!) . We'll need one tape for the boats and another for the chatter!!

Hey Ron, Yeah, im stuck in the snow banks, but not in Torino! We got 2 feet of the white stuff in two days, and this part of the country pretty much shut down. Ive been stuck in the house for a day already.... good thing Ive got my stuff to work on.... The Yodeling classes are going great! thanks for asking. Ill give you guys a few lessons when Ron and I get there. I really hope Chris Wittrig didnt let you talk him into borrowing any of his boats? Ive heard hes got some FAST stuff, but we know what will happen if you get behind the wheel huh? what size boat you running in the enduro? just curious....

Well for my last post as a "Club Racer" my number 999th post I would like to fill everyone in on the latest from Mr. Clegg! Its something to be proud of thats for sure.

Here is the scoop.....Now that he has moved out of the backwoods of SC to Germany he has undertaken the task of learning English yes thats right real English not the Good ole boy English of the south. I think it's kinda funny that he is in a foriegn country going to school for English but hey at least he is trying to improve his stature in the world and that is commendable!

Here is a post he made earlier today:

"Hey guys, Im doing a research paper for my English 393 class at college and need some info. I am looking for any type of written posts, newspaper articles, or anything that is able to be posted on here (or a link to it)"

I have edited out his subject matter as it is not my favorite topic nor would it be yours. Now as you notice he is speacking of English 393 NOT English 101 so it seems he is progressing rather rapidly for a country boy.

I would imagine that by the time he makes his trip stateside for the Tunnel Champs he will be quite versed in real english. My only concern is that the Tonja Atwell may need an interpreter to understand him.

Well anyway I just wanted to share that with you so that when you see Gabe again this month you wont be totaly shocked with his new vocabulary.

I can't say I regret that we sold our tunnel since Steve obviously found the perfomance that the boat was capable of by winning B Tunnel at last years Tunnel Champs. I do wish I had a boat to run at this race since the competition level is high and that is what I like!

Unfortunately I don't know anyone foolish enough to loan their boat to a mono racer! . Bottoms for runnin' , sides are for bumpin'!! :lol:

Dad and I have already started scheming for a boat to run in the 2007 Tunnel Champs. We'll have something for B Tunnel. There may not be much smack talk but I'll have something for you guys next year!

Too much fun to miss out on three years in row!!

Sure hope Ron gets us aroom down wind of the Attwell's ,I thought lasty time it was some kind of Sewage treatment plant aqccident come to find out it was Toni in the sauce again,just remember to every one shot of liquer you must take 1 Immodium tablet,you what that stuff does to you and the people around ya also. BREAKING NEWS:: Clegg was dug out of a snow bank and they were acutally perfoming forensic's on him thinking he was some new strain of abonable snow creature,but the bloodwork came back and found out he was from some small fishing village in the Carolina's,Science is Great isn't it? He has since returned to Yodelling class and is at the head of his class in the English class.Of course there's only him and (2) 6 year olds attending right now, Hey I it just struck me! Maybe the Attwells could take the course too, Yesterday they could'nt spell boatracer, today well today lets not get our hopes up. I thought I would send Gilbert a copy of the New Polish Sex Manual: In then Out (Repeat if nessesary) oh yeh Did the cream help at all??.John hope you warned the motel about some of the clientel that will be staying there ,hope there flood policy is up to date. I hoping this isn'nt a quiet,well maintained establishment in the nice part of town, it won't be very quiet that weekend.Does it have a open lounge and what time does the Band start playing?, what are some of the local bailbondsmens phone numbers?Carl looking forward to seeing you and the Taliband, and that Russian moter guy too.and last but not least my buddy Byrd has been pretty nice to me latley,so I must pay him the same respect. I did ask Mitch Attwell if he and his brother had mutuall climaxes, To my surprise he stated they had State Farm,go figure?Looks like we might be bringing a Defending champion back to the race with us also.Can anyboby guess who it might be?

Remember, Walterboro is typical small town America. Nightlife? Remember, the entire town is quiet. I know there are some honky tonks around somewhere but heavens I have no clue where. I guess it is what you are going to make it. Oh my what did I say? I imagine this will be a one shot motel. Next time it will be at another. The CMB name will be trashed all around that small town. Glad I will home with the lady of the house. Just remember, the manager works from 7-3 so you have to slip out QUIETLY in the mornings. Probably can't do anything but that after the night before anyway.

I'll have to appoint Carl as the sheriff and Ronald as his deputy to keep you guys in check.

Hearle, you might want to get enrolled in that english class too. It's Atwell, not Attwell. One T not two. Nice try though, Gilbert would have only made it to the A and then questioned himself if it could be an O.
