Zenoah new 2008 270

I was looking at information on the new zenoah 270 go ped engine. It has bigger ports, more advanced timing, better fuel intake, new carb, and a 4 bolt head. will this 270 be allowed in the same class as the 230 and 260 ? Is this the next step in gas engines ? will it put the old 260 on the shelf like what happened to the 230 ?

Its not a 27cc motor.... it still utilizes a 34mm bore and 28mm stroke.. = 25.4cc. Only difference is they made it a 4 bolt jug, added another bearing to the PTO side (3 bearing now), and intake port is slightly wider.

But yes, it would be legal.
