Started the sanding and filling,almost there now couple of small bits to finish up,add the sponson strakes then give it a final sanding down before sealing

some more done,made sure the sponsons tru and straight and added the strakes

alot closer now just some detail filling and sanding to finish off then get it sealed up ready for primer

Finally finished the filling and sanding (sort off)

managed to get the 1st coat of sealer on it aswell just needs a rub down again and a 2nd coat before prepping for paint

Finally got it in highbuild primer

just leave a day or 2 now to fully harden off before adding marker coat,then flat back do any small defects that appear before topcoat

sorting the main hull 1st then will do the hatch once the main finished this way i can make sure hatch is perfect fit before paint but this allows the thickness of paint build

Just while your all looking at twin outboards. These are my pair of Vision twin 21's. One with mod CMB's on Lawless legs and the other with stock OS set ups.

Darren its still only two mounting plates. Maybe an idea is born???
 
Starting work on parting board for the split mould

still alot to do yet to get it ready but making good progress so far

Parting board now done after hrs of carefull marking & sanding to ensure a snug fit

next need to fix it to 18mm board with some uprights to keep it all in line and prep for paint

Framework now made to support the parting board and keep it straight for even join line round the hull

Parting board now placed on,just needs sanding and sealing ready for paint

Hatch flange is also done and is all sealed and ready for light rub down and paint

Cat fits nicely in the parting board,nice even line all the way round,get it prepped and fill the small gaps round it polish it up etc

Hoping to mould the top early next week

getting there now and really looking forward to 1st attempt at moulding 1 of my hulls
 
wetsanded and polished the hull and 1st coat of release wax,sealed and sanded the parting board

Filled the gaps round the hull and the and 2nd coat of release wax

Nice neat work Daz!! Won't be long now, and then you can start on the f1's. How is your f1 ob? Have you heard from La-tiff?

Already started on the F1's but with a different approach to it LOL,hopefully the lower hulls will be done soon and then start the tops ;)

Daz this looks good.One thing to make it easy later put in an few marbles in the flange.Then you've got a perfect allingment in the top and bottom mold.
