novarossi direct drive pipe length in 40 seaducer

anyone running these, and what pipe length, is everyone cutting water cooling jacket off the header to get short enough

Barry, in my hydro I am running the pipe about 8 1/4" from the plug to the high point. Yes I had to cut the header off befor the cooling ring.

Novarossi make the striaght headers without water cooling now...

start at 9-1/2in to the join in pipe and go from there...

Yes you might have to cut that off...

Been considering one of these for my 40 seaducer as well. Please keep us posted on your results.

BTW Barry. What pipe did you go with? Muffled or Nitro?

I'm starting with novarossi muffled, Glen said they work well, but I have some macs muffled and plain, may try when broken in.
