Boy, I can't believe no one started the smack talking before the Orlando race!!

This must be the result of coming to the end of a very long racing season, with the NAMBA Nats thrown into the middle of it???

Mark, very unlike you to be so quiet, are you feeling OK??

Ron Byrd, no sausage talk from you???

Hey, you guys have a great time in Orlando, Tha "pickles" and I will see ya in Ft. Lauderdale!

Rick

Im still licking my wounds from the last one day at Orlando ;) No smack from me, just results at the next race B) I think Rons busy putting out a generator fire or something like that, you got an extra extinguisher ???? LOL. Andy

Hi Rick: I was there as a spectator. No fun! Jack won everything. The water was perfect for racing. There were only 6 scales, I think the smallest number this year. Steve gave Jack everything he could handle but couldn't keep his boat running for six laps. Mark finished second by being very consistant. I hope to get my clearance from the Mayo Clinic tomorrow to start running my boats again as it is no fun sitting on the shore wishing you were at the controls. See ya, Perry

Yep, I heard ( from Mike Allen) it was a very slack weekend for the scale racers, no-one could keep um running for six laps, except Jackson!

Sounds like I didn't give too much away in the points race for the year, by missing this one, But I'll bet everyone has there WHOES worked out for the last race of the year on Ft Lauderdale!!!!!!!

And I also hear that Ellie Watts has left Brian, for a yonger man (Mike Allen) Boy what a surprise that was?????? Now Brian will be completely lost, he has lost his pit person, and main wrench.

Mike, Lets see what kind of mileage we get outa this!!!!!!!!!!

Rick: I think you did let it get away. Going into this race you were only about 125 pts. behind Jack for the Swenson Trophy. Now Jack got a big 1600 pts on you by winning this race. Unless he has trouble in Ft. Lauderdale, he will get the Swenson again. Perry

   Had a great ride back home with my new traveling partner,,before we new it we were at her drop off location...Really missed you two this weekend... Broward hopefully will be a better turnout.. I know Gene has gotten his new scale,,hopefully everyone else can get up and running a least for six laps.. Couldnt keep Circus lit for two heats,,third heat lost cowling hum (six place points) last heat a second i think Jack and I were the only two boats running,,,I put Circus through some unreal pressure trying to catch and she performed awesome,,really dont think tomany scales would have stayed upright or running with that king of pressure i learned alot this weekend about her Jackson has done a awesome job with her, she's just and ole dumas hull  ... very strange.. Jasper-pay n pak-oh-berto are always upfront running ... one of those weekends.. :(

One good thing,, got a ton of work done on my other scales,, new turnfin bracket on skyway casino, formula is now ready to test and break in motor... oh berto's motor is almost broken in and made adjustments on her strut nows she not as flighty....Worked on Technicolor also... Poor Joe(Jasper) he didnt have any idea what he was getting into this weekend....but i learned alot and i thank him for having the patience with me!!!

Rick, I must have forgot to start up the smack talk sessions!! that's alright, I let the Candyman do the talkin for me with a 2nd in scale for the weekend!! too bad there were only 6 boats, I would have liked to drop the bomb on a few more pickleforks!! Where were you and "Princess Pickles"??? I thaught the Swenson trophy was gonna be at your house this coming season. Looks like it is going back to St.Clair and sons garage. How is the "other boat" coming along?

Mark U-5

The "other boat" went in the water a couple of weekends ago, wasn't bad, for as long as this thing has been hanging around????

Hell, if you cosider the miles of highway this thing has seen, it's traveled about as much as a real unlimited, purchased in 1989 in Camarillo Ca, went to the Florida Keys for a few years, moved up to Miami, then went out to Galveston/Houston Texas, back to Miami, to Pembroke Pines Fl, then to Port St Lucie. and it never saw water until about a year ago over in Brandon, didn't like what I had, came home and tore it all apart, and started over, you should have seen "pickles" face when he came over and saw pieces on the bench!!!!!!

It looks like it may be close now, so we have torn her all down again, doing body work, will prime, fill, sand, prime, sand, look real hard, and maybe paint????

Someday maybe, it will be Red, White and Blue.

Hey, are we going to get together and play boats before Broward? Pickles and I have the reteive boat up and running, and the 76 lake is calling!!!!

Rick

Hey Rick,

You had better watch Jackson - - he may well not show up in Broward, or have severe "shut down problems" so you can have the Swensen Trophy reside at your house for the year - - Har, Har !!! It resided at the shop for so many years - he got tired of dusting it !!! I thought it stayed at Steve's house this year. CHEERS !!! Bob

Rick, won't be at Broward but will be getting ready for the WinterNats!! Red,white and blue???? are we talking the 2nd U-4? looks like test sessions are now in Port St.Lucie! Bob, you are correct, the Swenson trophy is at Steve's. will be going back to St.Clair's Garage here shortly. Jack had a perfect score at our race, that should bring it on back home for him. Rick, that pup would have looked good sitting next to that Concourse trophy. when are you guys testing again?

Mark U-5

HEY MARK.HOW IS THE CAPTAIN DOING?AS FAR AS THE RED,WHITE AND BLUE.CAN I BUY YOU A SLURPY!YES THE NEW LAKE IS AWESOME TO PRACTICE IN AND THE NEW RETRIEVE BOAT NOT NOT A RETRIVE BOAT ITS A ROCKET.10FT FLAT BOTTOM WITH A NEW 9.9 MERC,TALK ABOUT GETTING OUT AND BACK FAST!!!!!!!!

Mike, you and Christine should have talked Rick into making our race to see if he could have taken the Swenson home after Broward!! Pops is doing good, he should be back to racing boats at the WinterNats. let me know when you will be testing again! I want to check out this new boat of yours, maybe we can put it up against my new boat!! :D

Mark U-5

Mark, incase you didn't catch Pickles reply, "can I by you a Slurpy"

No I was not referencing to a U-4, although, we do have another, but when it rears it's head at a lake the next time around, it will not be a u-4. As Mike Allen says 79???? Surprize????

When you finally see it, your gonna say "what the hell?????"

As far as the Red White & Blue "can I buy you a Slurpy" I guess you forgot about the Crusty old 7-11 hull in the garage???

If you had "contracted" me to do the Velasco hull, you would have been spending time in my garage, and you would know what was going on!!!!!

Until we next meet, you will not know what your running against???? ****, I'm almost sounding like Mike Allen, were did all these scale boats come from???? There like rabbits!

Rick

Rick, I can see I am out of the loop and "Pickles" ain't talkin'!! I need to make a trip down there so I can see what you guys are up to!! Are you making Mike do all the work?? He needs to be the one delegatin'!!! I'll give you a call!
