I went out today looking for some starter belts that would fit the narrow goove on my .12 engines flywheels. I went to a Sewing machine sales and repair store and found just what I needed. When they do repairs or fixing up trade-ins, they usually will replace worn belts. Most are in great shape for us, they are worn on the sides and not put to the stress that we put on them. The repair person had a box full of them and sold me 3 for a Dollar! Check them out, you might be able to get a better deal than I did!

Ron,

When I saw your post I thought you'd be looking for starter belts. I was gonna tell you the same exact thing. For many years a couple friends and myself got them cheap at a sewing machine shop. That is until a newbie blabbed what we were doing. Now they are $5.99 each. Bummer! I guess it doesn't help to shop in San Francisco.
