In a word drew, NO! if it had sponsons it wouldn't be a mono now, would it?

Text clearly states a mono/V bottom.... is allowed. Does not matter if it is deep V or shallow. No point in adding a drawing of a mono. A mono can also be modified, with pad or sponsons as long as they meet minimum hull specs. The class really allows a ton of design potential to be put to use.
