Well, the 6s version design is now finished. It is the RSX380, 38" FE rigger. Shown in the plans here are a 40x82 motor with water cooler, and a 6s 5000mah pack, which you can see, fits fine. The tub is 4-1/4" wide, so there is plenty of room in this hull. Like the RSX240 design I just finished, I need to do the cowling plug and mold for this hull, but the wood kit, is done. More on this soon! Mike

I think I'll probably do the 24 first, but it's going to be a little while. I'll wait at least until Mikes makes a cowl for it. I have a lot on my bench. I still haven't finished the Kep's and now I bought an outboard tunnel from Darin Jordan over on OSE.

The framing for the RSX240 and RSX380 cowling plugs arrived. So now, I will be starting on them. The 240 is easy as I can cut down the RSX310 cowling pictured, but the RSX380 will need a larger cowling, so I will have to make one up from scratch.

Tom, Soon I will get the cowling plug started. I have some other plugs I am finishing up right now, but this one is a high priority and will happen in the next couple of weeks. Just trying to get myself out from under this pile! haha. Talk soon, Mike

Oh, I dont have any boats that run right now actually...No time! Day job, ML Boatworks, and girlfriend...no time!

Finally started on the RSX380 cowling plug last night. I will get it finished in a couple weeks. This will finish out the 240, 310, and 380 hulls, and eventually, I am going to do a gas rigger. Mike

I finally sat down and forced myself to find time for this. This is the RSX380 cowling plug, next to the RSX240 cowling. So far so good. I plan on having this finished by next week, and a mold made.

Beautiful! Inspired me to do some research. I've got questions, but I'll save them for a new thread. :)

After studying the process for the cowls I think you need to raise your prices. Not too much. LOL. Keep up the great work.

Hey Grayson, I charge enough to have hobby money, and make it worth the time, no more, no less. I want my stuff reasonable so everyone has a chance to own an ML Boatworks product!

Here is the first RSX380 kit and cowling, off to Canada!

Another fine looking kit Mike!!! The way you have made the top skin for the sponson is fantastic as it helps to make it fit great. How about doing that for the scale kits too??? I have not heard from Bob lately about his 310 and how it is going.

Has anyone converted one to nitro that you know of? The boat of Bob's was a great change from all the KEP's boats I was building and when together great!!

Brad

Hi guys,

Bob's still here. I have the 310 together, I just haven't got over to the pond. I made some really neat plugs to cover those holes for the motor mount access, o-ring and all. Also have the Keps almost finished painting. Soon. Maybe get everything buttoned up this weekend. The weather here is supposed to be crummy. Haven't touched the 240 yet. I will keep you guys posted. Maybe use my wife's phone and put up some photos if I can figure out how. Mike as I said on OSE, the 380 looks beautiful as always. Been really busy with little time to devote to the boats.

Bob

Sorry to highjack. Brad if I text you pics, can you then post them? Did you ever get some batteries for your electric?
