Just thought I would share this vid of a few test runs from this past weekend. I know this is a very small pond but it is close and has easy access. It takes a few laps to build some heat but you can tell when it hits the sweet spot. I was using Mark Sholunds 40x 53 prop and it works very well, thanks Mark.

Jim,

Looks like the propeller is working quite well.

Thanks for the video.

Looks good,

propeller could do with a little tweaking..

cheers Luca

Luca,

You and Kris are lucky we don't have the best prop guy here in the USA. :D

That was just the 60+ MPH version, he hasn't tested the

latest 70+ MPH version yet.

Jim,

We have more in the 12 Hydro arsenal. :D

We are testing some new 12 pipes and we are starting

to get close to 40K RPM.

boats looks great, prop is hooked up for sure.

Jim,

We did 74 MPH last week in testing our 12 hydro here with great air

and clean water. It is a three blade and it will not work on every

set up. I can get one out to you in the next few weeks.

This was in heat racing set up, not S.A.W. set up. These

little 12's like Nitro and short pipes. :D

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Chris,

Not really sure, maybe Kentley will share?

I heard an Octura 2337 @aprox. 35mm in diameter.

I don't think that record will last five years.

Thanks,

Looking good Jim! Can't wait to get on the water with you again. I should have my .12 dialed in with my 40 X 53 B/C by the time you get back from California. Good luck at the Namba Nats!

PS. Nice ORANGE on the sponsons

Hi Marty, Unfortunately I won't be going to the Nats. but Kelly is going to run my 21, I am looking forward to the Centralia race though, there will be at least 4 of us and that lake is small so it will be a challenge. Bring your mono and we can have some fun with that class too.

Bummer about the Nats. I probably won't go unless they are held in Washington again. As far as bringing the Mono to Centralia, I will for sure. Hopefully, Glenn will have my NR 35+ to me in time to get it broken in. Is the pond as small as the one in this thread's video? That would be like a death race.

No its not nearly that small but it is not like running at Waughop, the left turn can be a little tight with more than 4 boats.

Mark, the USA does not need him as you obviously know it all.

And WHO did you 'hear' that from?

Who is 'We'?

Now sure why I got brought up in this thread, but I felt I had to reply

SORRY JIM!

Greg,

The lake is less than a mile from my house, so no speeding

is necessary. All my testing is backed up on a Stalker

Pro Fellas.

Kris,

Who: was Aaron A. We: is my pit person and myself. I guess a couple of

Aussie's are a little sensitive on here lately. Kris

how long have you been boating? 23 years?

Luca,

Instead of being so critical to everyones post maybe you could add something

positive to the board for once?

Just A Good Thought,

Mark Sholund
