looking for input on the best method for soldering flex shafts to the prop shaft and what materials are best, soft soldier, silver-soldier, I have heard some people even us Loc-tite products like 680 I have a fixture to help keep the parts in alignment TNX in advance fort he input

I use Sta-Brite silver solder. It is a soft silver solder with 5% (if I remember correctly). It comes with a bottle of flux.
I tried silver brazing with a torch before. It may be my lack of skills. I have found the high temperatures required changed the temper of the cable

603 WILL lock that sucker in place.. BUT.. stay brite silver solder is great too!
