Man!, great weekend of racing! I still can't believe I choked on the last lap of my last heat, giving Otto 1st in 20 tunnel and me second.

It was all mine, I had the class wrapped up!. All I had to do was finish third or better to clinch 1st for the weekend and what happens? I was running in first and stuffed it in the last corner of the last lap! Otto ended up with 1125 and I finished with 1050!

Bill, no worrys- your boat is SMOKING FAST , John has a new sheriff in town to chase !!!!

Kick butt weekend- that was FUN !!!!

Great job by the Brandon crew!!!

Was home, and unloaded and in the pool before 6:00, and thats after a 3 hour trip accross the state!!! COOL DEAL

Thanks to all that participated in the scale concours judging, thats right, the "Miss Machine Rock Band" ROCKED THE HOUSE

Actually the judges first choice was the Miss 7-11 but it wasn't in the cards for the 7-11 to get water time in Brandon.

She's on to bigger and better things.

The the "Rocker" wins by default.

Thanks again to the Brandon crew, and thanks for the cool looking concours trophy (my wife likes the purple)

Andy, since my sport-40 is waisted, should I build a 40 MONO? so we can put a tag team, double whopp azz on ya???

That sounds like it could be fun!!

Rick

Its gonna take MORE than both you boys to catch this 40 Mono ! Bring It !!!!! Besides your f-d without your pit-boy-LOL-LOL !!!

Congrats on the pretty trophy- both you and Mikes scales boats looked great. COME TO THE ONE DAY !!!!!!

Sounds like you guys and gals had a great time. Next time send more members of the Tunnel Boat Mafia up here to District 13. The North Florida chapter of the TBM could not complete the sweep in OB tunnel at the SOWEGA Grand Prix race. I wonder why? The Godfather will not be happy. See what happens when you split your forces and run two races? :p

Mark the Family has grown since the last trip your way. It may be a different story next time. The new wave of Enforcers looks pretty tough. Esp Billy "fingers" Britton, that guys got speed.......

Thanks Brandon and especially Don Riek for putting on the best race of the year. You guys are very generous, helpful, and fun to be around. Thanks Andy and Steve for calling for me. I couldn't get my boats around the course without you. In fact even with you I only seem to get around about 50% of the time. Who cares! It is the friendships we establish, the fun after the races and meeting old friends like Wally Snyder that make it all so worthwhile.

Hi guys Mary and I have to agree this weekend of racing was alot of fun. The Brandon club was on the ball, Steve and Sheilla made sure I was ready each time (thanks I always forget when I'm up next), and the racing was lots of laughs, and fun competition. Most of all, I really enjoyed going home with all my boats in one piece. the purple trophies were cool too!!

Special thanks to everyone who helped me keep our boats running this weekend. Rick Bellinger, Mike Haynes (Pickles), Dan Hutchinson, Loupe Perez, Ray Kindred, and Marty Davis, Garson, Rod, special thanks to all. You guys are the best! If I forgot anyone sorry....

Mary's got over 500 pictures for me to go through, we'll have a load up on the web shortly.

Perry , we want to see you at more races, we missed you this year..

Rick - 4 weeks till Broward get working on that Sport 40....you can do it!

Pickles...3 races this year's not enough. Rick needs his Super Pit Man and You need to go fast and turn right...

Marty Davis , we'd love to see you come to some races outside of Brandon and Tampa, your a great teacher!

Don, you can do the points at all the races, you did such a great job!! (We can count on that right, LOL!!!)

See you all soon!

Ron and Mary

I may make it to theone dayer if I get my mebership card in time. That is if it's ok with all of you :p

You are more than welcome to come to our race September 30th. All I ask is that you send in a race entry at least two weeks prior and your race that day is compliments of Brandon Model Boaters, inc. (that means FREE)

Hey Perry and Ron, thanks for the kind words!
