1991 Edge pics and info needed

Quick pic to bring y'all up to speed. Got a cowling from rcboat co, but I wasn't real tickled with it. Too fat in the front, wrong shape where the rear deck meets the canopy, wrong canopy shape... Maybe I'm too picky, but dang it I gotta change it. Here you see it after cutting a big slice out of the center to narrow it up. Got a long way to go with it, but eventually I'll have a pretty darn good cowling mold for the Edge!

No Scott, you're not too picky. I look at building boats in a very similar way, if it's not right I'm **** well going to make it right. To me, there's a real difference between building a scale model and building a model that is passably close to the full sized original. I know many disagree with that since the boats are built to race and tend to get damaged but, at the same time, we are racing SCALE MODELS so they need to at least look scale
