The Navy has given me a busy schedule and my boat is just sitting with all the other items.
45 in Dumas Deep Vee with stand, not to sure of the condition it is still awaiting pick up from the movers that shipped it from Turkey. The hull had been sanded and repainted from the Mercedes dealer in...
Howdy all,
I am looking at purchasing one of the fountian hulls, anyone have an idea what it might look like? Did some searching and have had no luck.
I had, notice "had", a 45" deep vee that the movers packed with my christmas tree, and as expected, the tree smashed the hull. So I...
Howdy,
What is your reserve? I see you have listed APO AE address, if we can agree on price you can MPS it to me. I am currently in Izmir at NATO, but I am transfering to Norfolk EOM to the USS Bulkeley, DDG 84. They also have a MPS address.
Let me know and we can work out something if the...
It does appear to be rather humorous, not enough gas or a vehicle to get out of the city, but they can round up items at Walmart to steal. That might explain why Walmart is not been very vocal about support.
Being overseas currently, I get to hear the European twist on this, and I along with...
Howdy,
I know I can't speak for all of the views, but I did look earlier and was waiting for the donation information to be able to contribute. Wasn't a whole lot to say except what everyone else has already stated in other forums. When you get it completed and info posted I will be back to...
I think I will do the preservation for the shipment back to the states. Once back on American soil I will look to the professionals in Norfolk. Going to ship in with household goods, so it should be an easy ship.
Will flush everything and pack it up, if I keep messing around it might end up...
Installed an inline needle valve, and have the spitting of fuel out the tailpipe under control. But the darn thing still won't run when you remove the glow starter.
I have installed three new glow plugs and still same thing. Then after a few runs in the stand, the engine is now getting warm...
If someone has one they want to part with, seems I always miss these on ebay, for the time difference is a bummer.

Howdy I bought a roll from a fellow on ebay, I have about 20 ft left if someone needs a few feet let me know I can cut it and send out to ya USPS.
I bought it to 1) black hose looks cool in yellow boat and 2) the line I had for water cooling was rubbing on the head and looked to have mushed a...
The fuel is new from the local hobby shop, but I am in Turkey, so who knows how long its been sitting in country.
The glow plug is not turning black, I believe the over amount of fuel getting dumped into the cylinder is causing the kill when I take off the starter. Getting the needle valve and...
I am getting the bracket also, it is for mounting to the cover plate, but I can set it up on the rail. Don't like to have things just flopping in the boat, sort of a neatness nut.
Thanks for the info, I should see in parts in about a week or so. I found a few others that run out by some...
OK, this looks great, but I have a 2-inch length fuel line to carb.
Do I cut the line place in-between? I assume so, but will I need to let it flop in the boat or is there a way to holder down, or not required?
I know this seems odd to ask, but it doesn't seem right to let it flop. I will be...
OK, I guess I will be pulling the motor to change out the carb. The current carb doesn't have a setting needle setup, just an port for the fuel line and the throttle arm on top. No adjustment that I can see...
Thanks, for the insight, will change and start again.

Well, heck the OPS 90 runs like a charm as long as you leave the glow plug starter attached...
So how long does it have to stay there before I can remove it? I have it running in the stand, waiting for the head to get warm to the touch before I start the water to cool it, but it never gets...
