4TH Annual Wine Run

The 4th annual Wine Run is coming up on August 8th. This is a D-14 points race. The race is held at Huber Winery in Starlight, In...http://www.huberwinery.com

This is a great race to take the family to. There are activities for the entire family on site including food,shopping and a petting zoo.

You are encouraged to pre-enter online at www.southernindianapropnuts.com. Prepayment not required.

We are camping at the Deam Lake State Park friday and saturday nights. We are making our reservations at and around F7,8,9,10,11 etc.campsites. We had a great time last year and expect the same this year. Brian will not be there because he will be in Fla. on vacation. Bonfire, wine, and whatever come and join us and do some land racin'. I think it's around $25/night. This was one of the best races we went to last year.

I don't know what the count is right now but there is no limit at this time. I suppose if entries were to go thru the roof we might need to cut it off. Go ahead and enter. Mike

Hey guys here's an update of the Wine Run as of Today July 28. There are a number of guys that I know who have not entered yet and are coming. If you think you are heading our direction, please take a couple of minutes and register online at www.southernindianapropnuts.com The registration form is a simple mouse click or two.

We will have a trophy class for 14 and under in the RTR as well this year. So bring your kiddos and let them race too. Lunch is availble for purchase at the facility, but feel free to pack your own food as well.

Now over 60 boats. Open water will be available on Friday around noonish if we are able to get the buoys in on Thursday. We are going to have Registration open at 8:00 am on Saturday and also Friday Evening. Driver's meeting at 8:30, and racing beginning at 9:00. It looks like we will be running the boat classes in an odd order. I have mixed it up so that most people do not have back to back heats. We are going to run 4 round of racing this year if it kills me. I hated that we were only able to get in the three rounds last year. We have added an additional retrieve boat to keep things moving and spacing the heats so that most people don't have back to backs(especially Birthday Boy) should keep us on schedule.

Please please please if you are coming and know it already please register at www.southernindianapropnuts.com This will keep us on schedule. The more people I register at the race the later we will start.

How about an update on how many boats in what class there Mr. Chriscrash

I think I entered. Please check. If I remember correctly I entered; RTR, Sport 40, & Classic T-Boat, all on channel 66, **** “Old Timers Disease” must be acting up again. I do know the Sport 40 got destroyed at Madison so it won’t ever race again. This is what we will be racing, Linda will be driving the RTR and I will be driving the Classic T-Boat, both on Ch 66.
