If I recall correctly, I heard the same things being said when we were using "Kraft", MinX, Citizenship, etc. radios when that foreign company called "Futaba" came around. I have many radios from all the companies and have "7" grandsons that like to play in the water so we can spread our support many places and we stress test all of them.Problem is you stop buying from the companies that do all the research and design, you will get less improvements for the future. It's easy to copy and sell cheap with little overhead.....
I have ideas on how to use the 4th channelNorm,
The 4 channel may have throttle curves but the 3 channel I hacked doesn't, even though it now has 8 channels. I've not seen or used the 4 channel that Dave started this thread about.

John'Hi Norm,
If that ones for me, yes you an adjust the trim step in a range from 1 to 10. Set at 10 the steps are very small. On my high dollar JR heli radios this fine trim step was great for trimming the heli's.
Thanks, John
Hey Mic,Norm,
Jay bought the new Flysky IT4 and it has 4 trim buttons on the wheel hub and 2 more down the handle that trim + or -. Two more down the handle that just toggle on or off. Any button can be assigned to any channel. The screen works like a i-phone for programming. This radio has more functions than you can use plus the real time telemetry.

Awesome.. The entire radio is cheaper than buying old stuff to support my old Futabas.Norm,

Imagine that a receiver that is water proof and combined with the new servos that run under water.
No radio box needed.
I can see all the old timer cringing now.
