If you are just replacing other carbs with the Zoom carb and leaving everything else the same, then you are not using the full potential of the Zoom carbs.

When installing the Zoom carb, richen the engine, start adding extra load to the engine with prop pitch and diameter increases in small increments until the engine begins clearing out. THEN you will see the difference.

I think thats safe to say about anything we test on our boats Charles , you have to be willing to make changes when testing.

Not trying to hold class on boat testing. If you have a Zoom carb and want the best performance out of it, test it this way. Just giving a heads up on what the Zoom carb likes.
