    Futaba 3VCS 2.4 Radio System

Larry, One more addition to this info Running 2.4 I'd recomend going to 6 volt receiver packs. They'll do a better job with the system and give your servos a better punch. Just be sure the servos you use are rated for 6 volt. Many of the Futaba servos are for 4.8 volt only and in time...

    Re-Visit Sponson Offset

Marty, Great discussion topic, it will be interesting to see what will come out of this. Just more food for thought, when I designed my .21 boat I spent the better part of a season looking, listening and absorbing all I could. I ended up putting 1/2" offset to the left (as with your .21). Two...

    question for the general public

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to change the topic of this thread, Chris started this about hardware and boat availability. I was just stressing the point that it's all a big numbers game, and the fact effort on all fronts is our key to success. We don't have to initially throw big numbers out, we...

    question for the general public

I realize only a small fraction of the IMPBA membership know of the efforts now underway to organize a working relationship with the AMA. The main concern now is with the insurance issues but if successful the resourses that would become available to IMPBA to use towards marketing and promotion...

    Can't pull a 1450?

Terry, Good to hear you had a blast with the B boat. They are a lot of fun. To pull a 1450 it will probably have to be de-tounged to get it to launch and also make sure you're good to the rich side going in. That's a whole bunch of prop. Try a little cup in that 1445 you may be surprised...

    Futaba Fasst 2.4 Range

The only real difference we've noticed between the Futaba FF receiver and the FS is the resistance or ability to handle excess heat. This issue was first noticed in R/C cars with the FF receiver experiencing thermal shut down. I've had a couple buds experience the same problem in their scale...
