Just wondering if there is any information on the Voodoo worlds for 2023? I have been the last 3 years in row. Last year it was basically 50/50 on Nitro and Gas entries, such a great time. Any info would be fantastic.

***2023 Voodoo World Championships Nov. 17th-19th***
The Voodoo Model Boat Club proudly presents the 15th Annual Voodoo World Championships sponsored by StumpFAB https://stumpfabrication.com/ being held in Reserve, Louisiana on Nov. 17th thru 19th 2023. The Voodoo World Championships has become one of the most competitive events in all of R/C boating with 330 boats entering last year’s race. Come compete with fastest boats and greatest drivers from around the world. Mark those calendars for this race and come down and enjoy some Louisiana Hospitality for a weekend of awesome boat racing! Race site has plenty of pit space and parking for large trailers and motor homes with several 110v outlets and water connections. Food vendor will be onsite for breakfast and lunch each day offering a full menu with daily specials. Saturday evening events at Voodoo create great memories you won’t soon forget which include a catered Louisiana style dinner followed by the Voodoo Corn Hole Championship with cash prize going to the winning team. All this included with each race registration. This race will be IMPBA sanctioned and will offer LSG 27, Open and Nitro classes for each hull type as well as several specialty classes.
Race entries taken on: Entries open www.rcracingevents.com on Aug.19th at 10:00am central time. BE READY, LAST YEARS EVENT SOLD OUT IN ONLY 12 MINUTES!!!
* Location: 451 Airport Rd. Reserve La. 70084
* 250 boat cutoff with additional entries taken on waitlist only to fill heats with fewer than 6 boats. A separate waitlist entry event will open on rcracingevents once the main race hits 250 boats
* Each driver limited to 6 boat entries
* Minimum of 3 boats to make a class
* Shootout format with previous round finishing position to determining the next round heats
* Only the top 6 boats from each class advance to the final Shootout round
* Total points for all rounds will determine the final finishing positions
* Driver’s meeting at 7:30am each day
* 2:00 minute mill clock with no half milling
* Lane is committed at buoy 6 of the 10 buoy course of the final mill lap
* Buoy cuts: 50 points for 1 or 2 consecutive buoys / 1 lap penalty for 3 consecutive buoy cuts
* Open classes limited to single cylinder with 36cc max or 10s Lipo for electric motors
* All SS (spec class) Zenoah G260 motors subject to tear down inspection per IMPBA rules
* Awards given for 1st-3rd place (8 or more) and 1st only (7 or less) with certificates to 2nd-3rd

* Registration fee is $30 and $15 for each boat entered

Friday Nov. 17th: S.S. Mono ,Thunderboat, Crackerbox, Jersey Skiff, D Hydro, F Hydro, 1/6 Gas Scale Hydro, 1/8 Scale Nitro Hydro, LSG Tunnel
Saturday Nov. 18th: Open Mono, Cat, Sport Hydro, Rigger, Open Offshore, B Sport Tunnel, F Mono, Sport 40 Hydro, E Hydro
Sunday Nov. 19th: LSG 27 Mono, Cat, Sport Hydro, Rigger, Superboat, B Mono, B Hydro, Twin Nitro Hydro, Twin Gas Hydro, King of Da Swamp (TOP 3 NITRO VS TOP 3 GAS TWIN RIGGERS)

Hey Bman ! I posted the flyer below....we have commitments from NZ and Germany this year ! Its going to be a blast ! Hope to see everyone there !
