I finally got the Blizzard just about ready to go, but I have the turn fin to install still. I see the newer kits come with a "G10" turn fin spar, but the old kits say to mount it directly to the sponson. I need help determining where to mount the fin: Do I order a spar for it so it is well behind the sponson, or will it be o.k directly on the sponson? If this way is fine, do you have part of the fin hanging off the rear of the sponson (I have seen a review where the rear half of the fin was mounted approx. 1 1/2" behind the sponson, so half is on and half is off the sponson. There is also no mention on the height either. I made the fin from the template provided, and added 2 bends into it. I just need some advice as to the best method to attach it.
