Jim, I may have missed the beach but I didn't miss the branches over the water or the sticks under it. First one damaged my cowl, destroyed the left tail, damaged the bottom of the left sponson and bent the rudder shaft. The second on redamaged the cowl and cracked the leading edge of the new left tail. First one, I was done for the weekend as it happened during a Saturday test session AND during my driver's test so no racing for me with only one more race in the season. The second was the next year and in a connie so I was done for the day on that one.
