Friends, this should be the last update, so please check it close and let me know if I made any mistakes. This update is actually the heat sheet for the first round.

We ended up with 198 boats and have 225 heats to run to get in all 5 rounds....YEA HAWWW!

Please try and get there early, parking is going to be very tight and if you can set your area up Friday we will be able to start earlier Sat. If you can't make it until Saturday morning, please be EARLY. I will need to get all of the paperwork taken care of and you will need to get your boats ready. Drivers meeting will be at 0730 and first heat goes on the clock at 0745!

You guys are completely right about this being a LOT of heats to run! As for the number of boats per heat...the left end of the course is really tight and I made the decision that the risk for damaging boats was too high to run more than 5 at a time (for the bigger boats at least). I will be keeping my eye on it during the early rounds and if things are working out OK I will start combining heats to save time.

We will have a "get ready" area for the next heat to be called, so please plan on having your boat ready early. We will not be able to wait for folks to get to the pits when their heat is called. If the retrieve boat is in and every body else is ready, we may go on the clock without you.

Also, once all of the boats are in the water, we will go to the 30 second mill time automatically.

Everybody is really going to have to work together and have their stuff ready to go to fit it in. But you know what...this is what makes big races fun!

Again, I need to ask for help form you guys! It you can run one of the retrieve boats, or if you think you can be a really good pit boss (not mean or jerky, just firm and organized) pleas send me a message. I would like to have enough people lined up before the race starts.

Overall, they were relentless on those bouyes. we were down to 3 in the last heat. Buckshot tried to steal one as a souvenier with his rigger and everyone else just tried to make them float away.

Harold (now forever known as 'the Viking') impressed everyone with his enormous mono with a 35cc mathe and 1/2 gallon fuel tank.

Glenn lost his voice and cracked (like a 14 year old boy trying to sing) while reading the results.

a 8 year old was beating the seasoned veterans. Hes going to be a big threat out there in the next couple years, so someone decided to try and run over his overturned mono.

and 'one guy' felt it necessary to get more perfect scores then most people had boats.

It was fun to watch even without bringing a boat along.

Glenn lost his voice and cracked (like a 14 year old boy trying to sing) while reading the results.

a 8 year old was beating the seasoned veterans. Hes going to be a big threat out there in the next couple years, so someone decided to try and run over his overturned mono.

and 'one guy' felt it necessary to get more perfect scores then most people had boats.

It was fun to watch even without bringing a boat along.
