Am in need of a torque wrench, not the auto types that read in foot lbs but the one that reads in lbs. Cannot find a supplier here locally. Also any special tools that forum members find useful? ???

Hey Puddle Hopper,

Check out the torque wrench that Rossi Sale of Amer.

has, I've used it before, really like it.

www.rossisales.com, look in the specialty tools around the $100 mark but worth every nickle.

$100 is not a bad price for a nice new one. i got one off ebay for about $20 including shipping. it's a surplus Utica 2-30 lb torque driver that works just fine. it looks like the Sturtevant Richmont one in the above pic, but is red anodized and is of similar or better quality. it may not be calibrated to "100% accuracy", but it's close enough for engine screws and glowplug torqueing and soforth. well worth the $80 savings. i've seen the Sturtevants go for less than $10. fwiw
