Man that’s a lot of glueing.That’s a lot of sanding also.Great job now get some rest!
 
Okay, the 7474 it is.
BTW, I got the pickleforks backward. The 7207, that being the Notre Dame, has a deeper picklefork, at 57", than the 7474 Valu Mart and Olympia Beer, which is 49".

With all that said, you might like some projects I'm working on, that is when I have the time off from work. I'm presently building a pair of 7325 Pak hulls, one for nitro scale and the other for gas scale. My boats are going to be different than most since I have access to the full sized boat. The cockpit is being relocated to the correct location, visible cross frames are being relocated to their correct locations and the sponsons are being reworked to be more scale looking. Here's a shot I took of the full sized boat outside the HARM earlier this year.

The person that this boat is for has decided that he would like it to be the 73-75 Budweiser U-12 and not the 72 Notre Dame U-7.

The Bud is a 108E/ 7025 hull.
The Dame is a 108F/7207 hull.

The two hulls are about what and what with the exception of depth. I believe I’m still within the tolerance of 10% so I’m not concerned with it. So Budweiser it is.

The 1970 Pak/1973 Bud is actually 6" shorter, 4" narrower and has a much shallower picklefork depth than the Notre Dame. I was doing some checking and came up with the following allowances:
Length: 42.50-43.75
Width: 18.00-21.45
Picklefork: 6.41-6.60

Everything else is either the same or too close to worry about. Just a head's up, the Bud you show in the picture is not the 1973-75 hull. It's actually the Notre Dame hull 7207 that was leased by Bernie Little to finish the 1980 season after the Griffon boat was badly damaged in a crash. This is a picture of the 1973 Bud

Well that’s good information then. The boat you posted with the eng exposed kept coming up in my searches. When I did a search on the 1980 boat, the hull that looks similar to an 8255 kept coming up. I have only found the one pic (above) like what the owner wants to do. It actually helps me out then knowing that the pic I posted is the Notre Dame boat. So he won’t have no issues now!!

Okay, sounds like a bit more information might be helpful:
This top picture is the 1976-78 Miss Budweiser. It was a good boat but not up to the standards of Bill Muncey's Atlas Van Lines

This second picture is the 1980-85 Miss Budweiser. It is presently on loan to the HARM and is a running part of the HARM's fleet. The 1979 Budweiser looked just like it though it was destroyed in a crash during a post season speed record run

Yes this one is a gas 1/6th scale. The cowl came from Steve at RC Boat Company.

I think your length is off. It should be the scale amount plus or minus 1 inch. Not percentage.

I am aware of that, Mike. Since he was saying that he was building the 1973 boat using a kit that makes the 1980, I took the maximum from the shorter boat and the minimum from the longer to get dimensions that would make a boat that would be legal to race. In the end, it didn't matter since he's building the 7207 1980 Budweiser and not the 1973 7025 version
 
It’s all good Guy’s no big deal! It actually works out great for what I’m trying to do so thanks to everyone for the input!!

On a brighter note, I have the belly pan cut out, I’m able to get the motor in and out with the pipe, header and carb all on. But the best part about all this is that it all fits under the cowling. I also have the stuffing box in for the most part, just waiting on glue. I should have my part raped up by the weekend. Good thing, I have two more kits already on the way.
