I am looking for material to make a setup board. The material must have the ability to resist warpage and maintain a level flat surface. I am aware of granite and glass

but was wandering if there was some material one of you boaters have used that you have found satisfactory for setting up race boats. Please tell me the technical name and supplier of the material. Your help is appreciated --Dan Mccormick---NAMBA--221

Corian makes decent setup board material for the pond. Get a thick slap and router out the shape. I have been using a laminated OSD board for a couple years. i sealed the exposed sides with epoxy.

I have been using a piece of corian type material for about 25 years . But be aware you will need to brace it with something(I use aluminum angle 2x2 on the bottom) because it won't stay flat. The aluminum angle has taken care of that
