rudder length and shape, i have a coffie can full of gas rudders, during a test and tune day in dist 11 guys will bring there gasser over to my pit and we will try all different lengths and shapes such as straight and tapered. what a difference this can make, warning, you will get your own coffie can soon!

Last run I split the bow tip open, when I hit the shore. I cut the bow and modeled a new one from solid wood.




The new tip is bonded to the hull with carbon thickened epoxy and connects to the hull by a large pin.

Ouch that hurst, but looks like new again. How did you end up in the shore?

Thanks! It skipped out of a corner and flew straight into the water plants at the shore. The pond bottom has stones and I hit them

Unfortunately it's Game Over for my Wild Thing. It got totally wrecked during a crash and dive.



It's beyond repair so I took out all the hardware and electronics. Luckily all electronics still work, but the GPS sank..

I'm building a twin mono right now. Lighter and stronger is the best of both worlds. I prefer stronger above lighter this time!
