Server Problem

I don't know what is wrong. For some reason the web server keeps going in to a state where it wont accept connections. Everything else works when this happens. I hope the downtime is not too bad. I have to restart the server to fix it. As of right now I have no idea as to what to do to fix this. It is leaving me no clues as to why it keeps doing this. Ill keep you posted.

thats pretty good prop..... i could call dell but it is an operating system problem and the server did not come with an operating system (cheeper that way) :-

Ok, by the numbers here:

I recall in the specs for the server it said it had a auto reset feature, yes, no? Enabled, Disabled?

Two, the same prob with the old server resetting and now this one, possible problem with ISP software?

i never had this prob with the old server...

dont know about that auto reset thing.... ill have to look into it

Sometimes a fast transient spike on the AC line, like a dryer or heater kickin on will cause a reset also, APC battery backup might help also.
