Gust got back from running the boat and it has a gallon of 50/20 run threw it.

Still a Little squeaky right at the top but getting there.

Ran the prop shop 7020/3ss and it loved it.

Great for the break in.

Leaned on it just a tad on the last tank and it spooled right up. Pipe is a little long at 12" to start.

This is going to be a beast. It will need more prop.

Handling at speed was great. A little lose with out having the cowl on. It will tighten up with the cowl.

Great first run.

The VAC 1.05 worked just as planed. this will be the eng to run in the future.

My new Eagle is being built right now with this eng in mined.

Watch out the Beast is awakened.

The pipe lived??? Must be of the last batch I made. I'd still get it welded up. At least the first two joints.

The pipe is good no problem so far.

Dose it need a full weld or just few stitches at each joint?

Have Tom put a full bead around it if he can. The rear cone does not get so much stress so it should continue to be fine.

Tony set the 47 up just like the 44 spec sheet . But move the engine back an inch...... Hold on when you LIGHT IT UP. The 47 Hull carries the Engine Very Well. with a Pitched up X-470 you will need more fuel then the 44 spec sheet calls for...

Well It was a good day and a bad one.

Good part found the prop it likes.

Bad part broke a piston waking it to the launch.

Start over with some new design pistons in a few weeks.

The 30% Si pistons keep breaking the skirts. going to try some 13% Si not so brittle.

The high Si micro grain stuff is like a diamond. where is great but it dose not seam to hold up to the pounding of the big eng's.

High 70's trimmed to race and one more prop change to go.

2717/2-17 rake should be the ticket.

Thinks happen dont worry I know that you can find the way to solve the pistons issues.

Go David, Go David........

I will get it ready for the Winter Nat's don't worry.

Scott is working on some new design pistons as we speak.

Spent Sunday at the Melbourne pond with Richie on the set up.

You should have seen every ones eyes when it lit up with the 2716 on it.

Smoked the Gas cats with ease.

Runs totally different than one with a gas eng in it. dose things that even amazed me.

Runs like a boat possessed.

A lot of fast boats in D3. This going to be a great race. Lets deal with all of them. I will be ready.

Luis already starting on the next BEAST Eng.

Will make the VAC 1.05 look like a midget.

Can you say 1.27!!!!!!!
