Well here it is all ready to go for testing this weekend.

This is a Rico 48" off shore mono with my VAC 1.05 eng.

This will be a trip to the other side and back.

Hope it makes it back in one pice.

Going for 80MPH in race trim.

will see if it works.

interesting mono, nice. I've seen these listed on the web-site, never actually seen one in-person. Interesting deck design. Would be nice to see a video of it running. I like the longer-length hulls (ie. 40in-plus)

David.......Might I suggest you take a regular 15cc or 13cc pipe with you.........

Don't know about all that...but do know that pipe will not make it very long with out some attention to the threaded joints.

It is a good pipe. Makes big power!

interesting I have a new 47 inch gas seaducer in my shop and was thinking about doing something similar with a nitro big block. Then I could chase Joe Warren around all day..LOL

Looks nice David. The hooked turn fins are interesting! If you do get it to 80mph, please get video! :)

I was wondering about that system. got the best welder around if needed.

Good old Tom Foley.

If he can weld a pison top I think he can handle this.

the hull was set up by the builder of the hull Richie Lind.

He has set one up for electric power that has gone 80MPH all ready.

So it is not a question of if the boat can go 80MPH but if this eng combo can push it there.

Prop shop 7020/3ss preped by Mark to start.

Mark will have a new ss prop casting to try soon we hope.

This boat was built for my buddy Luis Ayala from PR just for the Winter Nat's.

With out his support over the last 2 years this would not have happend.

Thank you Luis for your support.

Allso Steve Wood for the case bore and rod job.

It is what it is.

As I have all ways said.

"WHAT EVER"

The BS STOPS when the prop hits the water. :D

"GO BIG OR GO HOME" ;)

Just started it for the first time. Put the igniter on and it fired right up no starter. -_-

It's going to be a good one.
