New Breakthrough .21 Tunnel

Here's a snap of my new Breakthrough Tunnel, courtesy of David Moyle, who has been racing his very successfully since last October.

Hopefully, it will have it's maiden voyage tomorrow. At this stage I am just trying it with a stock OS but in the next few days it will have one of my GO Outboards on there to give it a bit more sting in the tail.

Not that it makes much difference, but what did you RTR weight come to?

The dry weight is 2389g, this includes 175g behind the Radio Box.

Yep, the Moyle hulls are light, strong and eat up choppy race water.

Not many tunnels tick all those boxes.

Dave what did you clear it with? Great finish over the wood!

Thanks Bryan. Its just zap finishing epoxy for sealing, followed by Hichem 2 pack auto clear. Trouble is now, none of my own hulls look as nice as the cleared one, ive got more work to do!

I agree lads, I saw the finish on Dions 45 and I was very impressed.

Dave's boats are definitely a contender where ever they go...someone needs to bring some more Aussie pride over to the USA later this year!
