Needle Bearings

IM looking at buying some Needle Bearings for my 90 Picco Engines, I have found a source that has the sizes I need! but IM not sure of the Alloy and hardness of the original Bearings, the Bearings that are available are Chrome Steel 52100, Hardened HRC58-62 does any one know if these will work with out damage?

That is the standard for needle bearings, they will work fine.

If you find out you have to buy 1000 or whatever you can probably find a complete bearing with the needles you need and cut 'em loose.
