HOPE TO SEE SOME OF YOU AT OUR RACES!!!

Glad to see vegas on the list for some nitro events. Count me in for A mono, A hydro, and C hydro.

The schedule has been out since the 18th. One question I have concerns the first gas race in Havasu. That date conflicts with the Grand Prix Classic that Alfred Lanza does up at Kaiser Cove in Fremont. Bummer to have to choose between races!!

But Havasu is 125 miles closer and is a District points race, so I guess the decision is made!!!

Where in La Quinta (PGA West) is the pond?? That will be a fun one too!!

Alfred changed the date for the Grand Prix to Feb 21-22.

A few of the guys up here are planning to travel down to Havasu for the Feb race.

The R.C. GRAND PRIX (so cal District 19) is open to ALL nor cal district 9 boaters if anyone wants to attend the race!

We ran this race last year and it was a blast! A bit different from regular 4 rounds of heat racing. Its a combination of Straight away time trials, oval time trials and 1 round of heat racing to qualify to run in the final round with the top 5 in each class.

Using a computer program I had made, the computer calculates time and speed for both the straightaway and oval.

There were boaters who were only separated by 1...1 thousand of a second! Thats how close the racing was.

It was a great time for all!

Rey.

Here's a few videos of some racing at last years Race!
