Miniature clam shell vents

My new scale boat project has reversed clam shell vents at the rear of the cowl and I was wondering if anyone produced any small enough to use on a 1/8 scale. The smallest I have found so far are too big(just under 2" long)

I've searched alot of areas....might have to come up with a plan to make my own. I was thinking metal plugs. One like the original and then a reverse that you can press together over a sheet of copper. Then trim it to size and get them chromed..... the ones I need will be about 3/4" by 3/4" by 1/4" high.
