Hey,

On Offshoreelectrics.com i saw a mini outrigger and thought it was cool.

plus i had some spare 1/18th BL stuff in the box not being used.

So i decide to build my own and seeing how fast you could push a 13in. boat.

The specs are:

Mamba 25 ESC

11.1 Lipo Electric Power

Himaxx 2050 400size BL Motor

HS-81MG steering servo.

Its 13in long and 2 in wide(the main hull)

Built outa spare 3/16ply(Strigers and Sides) and 3/32 ply(Bottom And Top)

The Sponsons are made 3/16th ply

The sponsons holders are CF Arrows with the Carbon Fiber removed.(leaving the Al tube which weighs like nothing

Those are the specs now for some build up pics.

enjoy

Yea, its been a fun build,

but here comes the fustriating part.

my BL MOTOR BROKE, i think it fell and when it hit the concret floor it broke part of the rotor off and i got a replacement shaft but its WAY to small, do you think a mamba KV8000 could push this boat to a decent speed like 30s-40s.

and were do i want the weight at, right now its about 1 1/2 behind the sponsons rear.

Thanks i will need help since im kinda new to boats.

but i have been racing 1/8 Buggy(Hyper 8) and a T-maxx for 3 years or so.
