Last question for the saginaw crew.

I'll be heading down to saggy and bay city next week, was hoping on swinging into the hobby shop, but I really dont know the city, and wont have much extra time to search every where. can someone please tell me where there is a hobby shop, and possibly the nearest cross streets.

Check out Roger's Hobby Center at 5620 State Street near Wienecke street in Saginaw. He has some boating stuff in stock but it's mostly special order. Roger himself is pretty knowledgable about RC boating.

I've been to Roger's but it's been a long time. I hit it when we rolled into town a day early for the race in Saginaw. They had at that time a lot of boat parts, more than my 2 LHS's ever thought about having together. They also donate a nice prize every year to the Saginaw club race so it's nice to give them some business when possible.
