HPI 18 oil hole

I have and Hpi 18 without an oil hole in the lower end of the piston rod. Should I drill a small hole and ifso what size. I dob't want to destroy my engine.

deffinantly drill it , i had a kyosho super 8 scale car with the kyosho labled 21 in it and i had seen examples of engines that had failed due to that same problem, use 1/64th drill bit to do the job debur it after its drilled , it will save you from alot of heartache.

My mistake. It has and oil hole on top next to rod. Rod has a groove that leads right to it. Something new to me.
