Just a suggestion ..... you should try the air dam before you add extra weight. You get the boat where you want it by using the air dam instead of weight you will be FASTER.

Don, definitely like the FASTER option!
I have been tinkering with some ideas...1) Using lead weights as the "air dam" itself...not sure if this would be allowed, and 2) possibly using IV bags (like the gas boats are using for fuel) in the nose to add water as weight. This way the weight could be adjusted easily without the need to pull the tank every time I wanted to add or remove weight. If not only for testing purposes, perhaps for a needed weight gain on certain course conditions...just a thought.
