This is an outboard tunnel that was run as an electric. SV27 components on an Irwin (REK) leg. By it's great condition, it doesn't appear to have been used much.

I'm trying to identify the hull manufacturer and any information.

It's a wooden boat.

Length is 26"

Width at sponson tips is 8"

Width across transom is 11"

Any help would be appreciated.

While I am a hydroplane boater. I would believe that is a Dumas hot shot sprint would kit. I started my son Chuck with one of those with a k&B 21.

Ken,

I've been told that it's a Dumas Hot Shot Sprint 3.5. I can see this, but the Dumas boat is 24" length and this is a 26" boat. It's possible that it was built longer.

Thank you for your help.

John

Anyone with basic wood building skills could lengthen the boat a couple inches. The cowling looks more like a 7.5 cowling that has been reduced in size to fit the boat.

I have Dumas boat I built 20 years ago and its 29 inches long for the mod engines back then.It has a 7.5 cowl on it.Mine has the smae paint colors on the cowl.
