you're welcome to come down anytime. I am working next weekend as far as I know right now and the weekend after that is the start of the Internats so you know where I'll be then. I would like to try to get the HH .12 and the Speedmaster out one more time before then but I might have to do it in the morning before I head to work. This 3-11 shift really sucks in the Summer!

You might want to get hold of Scott to see where they run at. I do have alternative sites closer to you, one about half-way between us.

Where is the pond 1/2 way between us? That would be about Portage or Dorr area I think. Gun Lake is also between us, but that lake has a lot of boat traffic & is really rough most of the time because of it. I had planned on giving Scott a call today.

Allegan Lake. It's part of the Kazoo River west of town. It's in the Allegan State Game Area NW off M-89 heading towards Holland. We ran there last year a few times.

Dale,

I got the video in yesterday's mail! It was really cool watching it! You did catch my 1st flip on film, & you also got OBnut's flip that tore off his cowl. I probably watched it 6 times!!! ;D Thank you for sending it.

OBnut, as soon as I dub it, I will send it your way. Could you email me your address so I have it when I am done? Probably this weekend.

Wade,

Cool... UGM...

Yea, when I get my 29 WOF running, it flips and takes off the cowl.. That was the end of my day..

For all, I've sent MikeP a cd with vid of our trip to K-Zoo along with some action of Mary's - AKA "HER" and my 29 WOF running here locally. Mike will load it on the server and I'll post the whereabouts when I hear back from him.

Lastly, I've set up a site to have pics and other things (Thanks Eric!)... Beware, this is my first website, so it may look generic..

Mark...

I think you have a really good site started. ;D I can't wait to see your video you have sent Mike P.

Gun Lake has a nice little cove by the public access beach, most of the time it is empty and since its on "the other side" as my aunt says, it's usually not as rough. but there are a ton of lakes around that arer, lake barlow and deep lake, just to name a few ;) Wade, i drive by lake eastbrook almost every day it looks like there might be a nice spot to use if you got a silencer, still have to get permission to get to the area though and the shore is pretty steep, prolly have to have at least another person to launch your boat. also, i'd like to see that video, drop me some mail about it

My dad used to live across the street from Barlow Lake near Bowens Mill. Then he moved to a place on the lake with the red star. There is a lake that is attached to it (yellow star) that has the YMCA summer camp on it, but I don't remember the name. That would be a really good place to run.

it's camp manitolin (sp) is there a good public access point there, it would be a good place to go and have a little fun, just gotta watch out for the kiddies ;)

YA! That’s the one. if it still the way I remember, it is very secluded except for the camp ;D

Dale,

Tried that.. Came back with undeliverable.. Wade sent me your email, which I believe includes a dash somewhere... BTW, I did get your email...

Thanks,

Mark..

I know of 2 places in Martin that might be possibilities. One is Big Lake (which it isn't) right off US-131. You head for the old tire pile and follow that Road to the Access. Not much traffic on that lake.

Kalamazoo. County Jail to the Stars. R-R-R.

that pic is funny!!! ;D i know right where that tire pile is, you can't miss it going South bound on 131. ;)

Ok ladies and gents. :) Here we go.. I sent a cd to MikeP 8) and he put these 11 mpgs on the server for you to enjoy.. ;) Those on dialup, grab a brew and sit back.. Most of these are under 10m - they run for around 30 seconds each.. Vid time that is ;D, not download'n time :p ..

The one MikeP posted already is my 29" WOF with a mod K&B 3.5. Taylorsville Lake is the sceen.. (Those that like to bass fish, here's your lake!) These next vid's complete the WOF1 run.
