WTF are these idiots and the sheeple supporting them thinking - I'm mean REALLY $15.00 an hr - and they act as they DESERVE IT EXCUSE ME but last I checked , back when reality used to exist -_-

Fast food work was generally a starting point so to speak, high school kids and first jobs, ect . And imagine this - If you ACTUALLY F-ing worked hard, showed up on time and did your required job , you where rewarded with this amazing thing they call - wait for it .................

And - Get This

Yet SOMEHOW in this twisted misguided concept that our younger population of the good ol US of A seems to share- It should be given to them, with no effort / hard work or commitment :wacko:

I would just assume never eat a big mac/whopper or whatever again in my life than see the same incompetent Fck messing up my order , not giving a crap about cust service- or just in general doing the same worthless quality work except at nearly the same money I make doing a skilled trade :angry:

Most didn't pay attention in school so they can't get a better job. If they get $15.00 an hour then those who have better jobs that pay a mere $15.00 an hour will want more. If they're not happy with the jobs in the wonderful world of fast foods then get a better one as there are plenty of others waiting to take their place! Any one of them have a pile of applications to pick from.

If they get their way it should cost you at least 20% or more so no more dollar meals or $5.00 foot-longs.

Buddy it is very simple "PEOPLE JUST PLAIN SUCK" I had the same experience at Mickey D's and will never eat there again. My generation seems to be expecting to get a hundred thousand dollar a year job right out of high school behind a desk in a climate controlled environment (Probably not likely). If it was that simple everyone would be doing this, guess what sometimes hard work does pay off. Buddy I feel your pain the world is just corrupt at times.

Its a good thing I do cable for a living cause there are three things they wont go without-

1) A nice ride

2) A 55+ inch TV

and my bread winner ,

3) Cable TV .

That said , if your looking to get ahead as an ordinary average guy , you either need to own a wheel and tire bizz that can pimp your ride AND finance you.

I go thru the same crap.. the guys i hire want good pay. they show up late the 1st day they start.. they punch in then go out and smoke. complain it is hot. lol ect.

i told them yesterday. if you don't like it. burger king is right down the street. i run a tight ship.. i am not a dictator but i need things done a certain way because customers expect things a certain way, and if you can't do it hit the road.

I acually asked a guy a month ago about a job.. he applied for a position i had open, i called him in we talked he said to get back to him tommorrow ( 1st off HE APPLYED and then wants me to call him the next day LOL ) ok so i do, he says and i quote. THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY BUT I AM GOING TO PASS. I SAID WHY? I THOUGHT YOU DIDN'T HAVE A JOB, OH I DON'T BUT THIS POSITION DOESN'T PAY ENOUGH. OH SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT. YOU APPLIED FOR A JOB, AND YOU KNEW WHAT I PAID, YOU GET THE OFFER AND NOW IT DON'T PAY ENOUGH LOL!!

pretty much typical for the way people are these days.. most will sit on unemployment for months even yrs waiting or hoping for a good paying job instead of taking something and continue looking.

While I agree with everything that has been said in this thread. I will say, it does take a lot more money to HONESTLY live now days. Granted, we could all set around and leach off the gov. Hell, we KNOW Obama will take care of us if we want to quite our job and pop out 10 kids.

We have become a land of handouts and free rides. Right now you have 46% pecent recieving some kind of "assistance" from the government and the last thing they will ever do is vote for anyone trying to cut that back even though it represents one of the single largest cases of fraud in our system. When that number hits 51% the two party political system as we know it will be over and we will land full tilt in socialism. This has been a long time coming and a well thought plan at that by the extreme liberal left. It started in the mid to late 70's with our educational system, those new teachers we thought were "wierd" were the beginning of the tearing down of the conservative and moral values taught up to that point. Now instead of being taught about morals, values and striving to be a better person the kids are coming out lazy, immoral and convinced the world owes them everything from the get go. We are in serious doo doo folks and I hope the imminent collapse holds off at least until I have one foot in the grave but I doubt we will last that long. My new retirement plan may very well wind up being canned goods and lots of ammunition..................

I agree with all of y'all. I work at a major University in MS. It's sad. The kids coming in these days don't know jack. Worse of all, they have zero work ethic. If you're not going to give it to them, then "oh well, I'll just surf the web until it's time to go home". Zero desire to educate themselves (work), Zero desire to do anything on their own (initiative), and Zero desire to "do the right thing when no one is looking" (Integrity).

It's a sad state of affairs for our future.

They way I see this is that these morons think that a job flipping burgers was actually intended to be a means to support a family. It's not It for kids to pay car insurance on the car their parents bought them so they can actually drive it. It's to have money to buy your highshool girl friend dinner and a movie. It's to have money to give the bum outside the liquor store to buy you some brew when your only 19. Now these morons think, and its only because they have never put out the effort to do more, that this is it. The final job. And why should the CEO be rich when I'm flipping the burgers. It's all because they are too stupid and uneducated to actually realize what it takes to manage and be succefull.

A bunch of idiots looking for their next free ride. I started my first engineering type job at 7.50 an hour. Was it a lot? He'll no, but I knew if I worked hard and learned everything could. Im not a huge Union supporter by any means, but Im pretty confident I know how our work place would be without a union....and it surely would not be better then it currently is! I can assure you that!!! Granted, I have read some pretty bad Union horror stories as well. I guess we are just lucky and strong where Im at. I know this is hard for some to believe that I would support my union when Im a conservative... Corporate america is way way to greedy!

Got to tell these a-***** that I switched jobs from KFC to the car wash nextdoor because it was a ten cent raise... $1.35 an hour from the then minimum wage of $1.25. Oh, but of course everything was cheaper then...LOL. And 95% of the population were too proud to accept food stamps or welfare except for the very worst parts of L.A. and El Monte. IMO the only thing these fools are entitled to, is the opportunity to obtain a job... if they have the ambition!
